Hubbard ~ Ronald “Ron” E. Anschutz, 90, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon July 2, 2026 at Shepherd of the Valley in Liberty. Ron was born in East Chicago, Indiana on February 7, 1936, a son of John and Gladys Crouch Anschutz.

Ron was a machinist at General Electric for many years, retiring in 1994. Ron enjoyed fishing and in his younger years he enjoyed boating and amateur radio.

Ron leaves his son Keith E. Aschutz and his wife Darla of Liberty; his daughter Barbara L. Moore and her husband Mark of Hubbard; two brother’s Gerry and James Pugh; three grandchildren, Brandon Moore, Shaun and Ronald Anschutz and two great grandchildren Riley Moore and Cameron Moore.

Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife the former Shirley King whom he married July 14, 1956; his parents and his grandson Marc Moore.

There will be private services for Ron.

Arrangements are being handled by the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home.
