HUBBARD Ronald E. Ours, 80, of Hubbard, died Friday morning, August 5, 2005, at Campus Health Care Center. He was born December 24, 1924, in Hubbard, a son of Isaac and Bessie Wilson Ours and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Ours was a welder for Powell Pressed Steel in Hubbard for 38 years, retiring in 1983. He enjoyed playing baseball and was a former assistant manager of the Hubbard Girls Softball Team. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He leaves his wife, the former Judith Doughton Dunkerly, whom he married August 26, 1979; two stepsons, Brian (Ruth) Dunkerly of Chesterfield, VA and William (Wendy) Dunkerly of Springboro, OH; two stepdaughters, Sharon Horkey of Hubbard and Jill (Alex) Crabtree of Ostrander, OH; a sister, Betty Gean (Denick) Cox of Austintown and ten grandchildren.

His parents, brothers, Bernard and Clem Ours and sister, Cornelia Fair, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
