MARATHON, FLORIDA Roma McCullough, 84, formerly of Marathon, FL, died Saturday evening, June 15, 2002, at O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home, Masury, OH. She was born February 21, 1918, in Kittanning, PA, a daughter of Harry and Romaine Fleming Laird. Mrs. McCullough lived in Florida for the past 30 years and had just recently moved back to the area.

Mrs. McCullough, along with her late husband, Alfred, were commercial fishermen in Florida for 10 years. Prior to this they owned and operated State Line Mobile Homes, Coitsville Twp., for 20 years.

She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church, Marathon, FL.

Her husband, Alfred McCullough, whom she married August 14, 1937, died April 28, 1999. She leaves a son, Alfred McCullough of Union City, WV; a daughter, Dixie L. Higham of Masury; one brother, Harry Laird of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Virginia Crytzer, Joyce Martin and Letty Ann Ashe, all of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren.

There are no funeral services or calling hours.
