VIENNA Roland C. Hill, 67, of Vienna, died on Thursday morning, May 22, 2008, at his residence. He was born on August 7, 1940, in Red Jacket, Virginia, a son of Leslie Markus and Rosa B. Belcher Hill, coming to the area in 1965.

Mr. Hill was a welder at Youngstown Steel Door Company for 19 ½ years, retiring in 1982. Prior to this, he worked in the Kentucky coal mines for 15 years. He was a member of Liberty Bible Church.

He leaves his son, Leslie D. Hill of Vienna and two brothers, Homer Hill and Stoney C. Hill, both of Pikeville, Kentucky.

His parents, a daughter, Melinda Jean Hill, two brothers, Darrell Hill and Cecil Hill and a sister, Peggy Hill, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the services.
