HUBBARD Robert M. Smith, 66, died Wednesday afternoon at Northside Hospital Medical Center. He was born September 4, 1942 in Youngstown, a son of Andrew W. and Lucy Malagisi Smith and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Smith worked for Delphi Packard for 32 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Robert enjoyed snowmobiling, woodworking and showing his 1967 Pontiac GTO at many car shows.

He leaves his wife, the former Mary Beth Petrusko, whom he married February 10, 1967; a daughter, Nadine (Brian) Connor of Calcutta; two brothers, Thomas Smith of Jackson, MS and James Smith of New Waterford, OH; two granddaughters, Ireland Bailey and Delaney Rae.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Arthur Miller and a brother, William Smith.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
