HUBBARD Robert "Pepsi" L. Shaw, 59, died Friday evening, September 4, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 30, 1949, in Clarksburg, WV, a son of David H. Sr. and Netabelle Poole Shaw and lived most of his life in Hubbard. He worked for Prout Boiler and Welding for many years before becoming disabled.

Bob enjoyed shooting pool and was a member of the APA Pool League and the BCA Pool League. He was a member of the VFW Post 3767 of Hubbard, enjoyed NASCAR and loved his dogs. Pepsi had a passion for remodeling his home, old cars and his '55 Chevy that he was always working on. A 1969 graduate of Hubbard High School, he served with the US Army where he was an instructor for refrigeration and air conditioning.

He leaves his wife, the former Linda J. Sargent, whom he married November 27, 1981; two daughters, Allyson Shaw of Hubbard and Michelle (Mike) Woloschak of Youngstown; a brother, William Poole of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Summer and Michael Woloschak.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David Shaw Jr. and a sister, Linda Shaw.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
