HUBBARD Robert Ciotola, 67, died Friday afternoon, August 7, 2009, at his residence. He was born August 31, 1941, in Sharon, PA a son of Frank and Victoria Morocco Ciotola and was a life long area resident.
Bob was an administrator in the math department atYoungstown State University for 24 years and retired in 2007. He previously taught at Brookfield Schools from 1963 to 1969 and was a math teacher at Sharon High School from 1969 to 1982. A 1963 graduate of Youngstown State University, he was an accomplished musician and played drums in area bands for many years. He enjoyed music and photography.
He leaves his wife, the former Mary C. �Cathy� Kocis whom he married on June 21, 1975 and a son David R. Ciotola of Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Joseph, a brother, Frank Ciotola Jr. and a sister, Ellen Rossvanes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 am at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard and at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
