HUBBARD Robert J. Brindiar, 65, of Hubbard, died Tuesday afternoon, November 29, 2005. He was born May 29, 1940, in Youngstown, a son of John and Elizabeth Fabry Brindiar and was a life long area resident.
Mr. Brindiar worked for Ajax/Tacco Magnethermic for 41 years, retiring in 2005. He owned and operated Chesare Kennels, raising English Pointers and Saluki breeds of dogs. Bob was a member of the American Kennel Club, the Columbiana Kennel Club and enjoyed dogs, hunting and fishing.
His wife, the former Sandra L. Dodd, whom he married April 18, 1980, died February 25, 2002.
He leaves a son, John C. Brindiar of Boardman; two daughters, Vickie L. (Mark) McConnell of Edinburg, PA and Robin M. (Allen) McBride of Austin, TX; two brothers, Richard Brindiar and Donald Brindiar, both of Lowellville; three grandsons, Mark II, Christopher and Scott; one granddaughter, Rachael and his fiancee, Nancy Kaley of Alliance.
His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
