COITSVILLE Richard A. King, 72 of Coitsville, died Saturday morning, February 28, 2004, at this home. He was born November 26, 1931, in Youngstown, a son of Robert E. and Irene Davis King and was a life long area resident.
Mr. King was a self-employed painter and wallpaper hanger for over 45 years retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Coitsville Presbyterian Church and had served as Deacon, Elder and Trustee. He enjoyed gardening.
He leaves his wife, the former, Mary K. James, whom he married September 1, 1952; nine sons, Robert (Sabrina) King of Mesquite, TX, James (Nancy) King of Boardman, David (Teresa) King of Liberty, Thomas King of Coitsville, Richard (Theresa) King, Jr. of Campbell, Harry (Molly) King of Liberty, Dean (Gloria) King of Youngstown, John (Diana) King of Salem and Timothy King of Youngstown; one daughter, Katherine King of Morgantown, WV; one sister, Carol Smith of Zephyrhills, FL; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
His parents are deceased.
