YOUNGSTOWN Richard J. Tregaskes Jr., 76, died Sunday evening at Northside Hospital Medical Center. He was born August 12, 1925 in Margaret, PA a son of Richard and Margaret Brandt Tregaskes and lived in Youngstown for 46 years coming from Yatesboro, PA in 1955.

Mr. Tregaskes worked for Youngstown Steel Door as a press operator for 30 years before retiring in 1983.

His wife, the former Alene Guffey, whom he married June 30, 1945, died April 28, 1990. He leaves three sons, Henry and Thomas of Youngstown and Donald of Monroe, NC; four daughters, Barbara Cataline of Hubbard, Jacqueline Yakopec of McDonald, Paula Tregaskes of Youngstown and Odessa Hershberger of Cortland; a sister, Andrena Kerner of Dayton, PA; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A daughter Carol Tregaskes, a granddaughter, four brothers, Fred, David, Russell and Wilbert and a sister, Mary Reefer are deceased.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Wednesday 5 to 8 PM.
