Richard Crump's Obituary


HUBBARD Richard C. Crump, 76, of Hubbard, died Thursday afternoon, November 16, 2006. He was born on December 12, 1929, in North Lima, a son of William Owen and Edna Coonce Crump and was a lifelong area resident, living in Hubbard since 1962.

Mr. Crump was a partner in C. Crump, Inc. in Hubbard. Prior to this, he owned and operated Mayard Equipment for 15 years and had also worked at the General Electric Corporation. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Richard enjoyed traveling, working and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He leaves his wife, the former Mary L. Ryser, whom he married on February 26, 1962; two sons, Curtis Crump of Hubbard and Richard J. Crump; four daughters, Cheryl Dupree of Mississippi, Cindy Enderle of Hubbard, Criket (Mark) Kirby of Pulaski, PA and Shirley Jo Crump; three brothers, Thomas Crump of Champion, Phil Crump of North Lima and James Crump of New Waterford; a sister, Nancy Ober of Chagrin Falls; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a granddaughter, Brandy Crump, a grandson, Chad Allen Enderle and a brother, William Harry Crump.

Friends and relatives may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral in Hubbard.
