HUBBARD Raymond C. Smith, 77, of Hubbard, died Saturday morning, April 17, 2004, at his residence. He was born April 2, 1927, in Youngstown, a son of Frank and Zofia Chlerd Smith and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Smith worked for Kohn Beverage, retiring in 1980, and prior to this worked for Loblaws and Stoney's Trucking. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 377, enjoyed golfing, polka music and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II.

He leaves his wife, the former Marjorie Duffy; two sons, Raymond H. (Beth) Smith of Struthers and Roger A. (Jill) Smith of Sharon, PA; one sister, Virginia Nard of Youngstown; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

His parents and brother, Frank Smith, preceded him in death.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
