WOOSTER Memorial services will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Fr. Tim O'Neill officiating for Raymond Howard Lee, 61, formerly of Hubbard, who died Tuesday evening January 22, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Mansfield. He was born September 10, 1951 in Sharon, PA a son of James and Minerva McLanahan Lee and lived in Wooster for 15 years, coming from Hubbard.
Mr. Lee was a Loss Prevention and Assistant Manager for Wal Mart for 20 years. He previously worked for Sam's Club and was Editor of Phoenix Publications.
Raymond was a 1969 graduate of Hubbard High School. He served with the United States Army during Vietnam having received the Silver Star, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Wooster and was the published author of several books under R. Howard Lee. Raymond loved writing, gardening, golfing, going to auctions and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves his wife, the former Patricia Taafe, whom he married May 25, 1990; a son, Raymond (Leanne) Lee Jr. of Girard; two daughters, Jenna L. (Michael) Cicchillo of Boardman and Beth Rae (Glenn) Mercier of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Colleen (Mathew) Huhn of Volo, IL and Meghan O'Neil of Chicago, IL; a sister, Alice Neradil of Wooster; five grandchildren, Michael Cicchillo, Sam Cicchillo, Joseph Mercier, Evan Huhn and Molly Huhn and his friend, Fina Barra.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Lee and two sisters, Peggy Swartsfager and Barbara Woods.
