Obituary


HUBBARD Mr. Raymond J. Cronin, 79, of Hubbard, died Sunday, November 24, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Select Specialty Hospital. He was born July 3, 1923 in Youngstown, a son of Raymond J. and Helen Rogers Cronin and moved to Hubbard in 1946, coming from Youngstown.

Mr. Cronin was a baker at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 28 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard where he served as an usher. He served with the United States Army during World War II, was a member of the Knights of Columbus Msgr. Hughes Council 2072, where he was a 4th degree knight and enjoyed golf.

He leaves his wife, the former, Marge R. Carsone, whom he married July 27, 1946; two daughters, Kathleen (John) Garzanich of Austintown and Susan (Gene) Frederick of Plano, TX; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Three brothers, Myron, Edwin and John Cronin and a sister, Florence Jones are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 9:30 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Friday 5 to 8 PM.
