HUBBARD Ramona M. Weaver, 67, of Hubbard, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday morning, May 16, 2006, at her residence. She was born June 6, 1938, in Conneautville, PA, a daughter of Lloyd and Treva Briggs Frye and had lived in Hubbard for 44 years.
Mrs. Weaver was a cook at Fat's Village Tavern in Hubbard for eight years, retiring in 2002; prior to this she was a waitress at Union 76 Truck Stop for 12 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Church and volunteered for bingo, fish fries and the festival. Ramona was a voting poll worker and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren who were very special to her.
She leaves her husband, Delbert Weaver, whom she married June 18, 1955; four sons, Delbert Weaver of Brookfield, Lloyd (Kim) Weaver of Niles, John (Christine) Weaver of Southington and Bill (Lisa) Weaver of Hubbard; two daughters, Treva (John) Flynn of Hubbard and Lena (Rick) Setzer of Granite Falls, NC; two brothers, Frank (Janet ) Frye of Conneautville, PA and Zeph (Diane) Frye of Mineral Ridge; a sister, Oletha Williams of Harmonsburg, PA and a sister-in-law, Shirley Frye of Austintown; 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
