Obituary


HUBBARD Ralph Swan, 84 of Hubbard, died Thursday evening, November 15, 2001, at Northside Medical Center. He was born November 26, 1916, in Steubenville, OH, a son of Harry E. and Anna Jarvis Swan and moved to Hubbard in 1957.

Mr. Swan was a cabinetmaker and worked for Don Walter Kitchens for 30 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard and the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, No. 615. He was a former member of the Optimist Club and served in the US Navy in World War II. He enjoyed woodworking.

He leaves his wife, the former Helen L. Hall, whom he married August 3, 1957; one son, Earl F. Swan of Bradenton, FL; two daughters, Janus F. Paulin of St. Petersburg, FL and Rosemary Will of Irvine, CA; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A brother, Dorman Swan is deceased.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 4 to 7 PM.
