HUBBARD Ralph Lee Hicks, 72, died Thursday April 15, 2010 at Hospice House. He was born June 24, 1937 in East Liverpool, a son of Fred and Thelma Smouse Hicks and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Hicks was a truck driver for Miller Buckeye Specialty, retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and the Knights of Columbus, having been a past Grand Knight, third degree in Hubbard and a fourth degree in Girard. Ralph enjoyed casinos, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeye Football. He also served with the United States Navy.

He leaves his wife, the former Sondra Lee Hancock, whom he married July 17, 1964; a daughter, Melissa Lee (Robert) Liste of Warren; two brothers, Charles Hicks and Michael (Roni) Hicks both of East Liverpool; a granddaughter, Allison Leigh Liste and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
