Phyllis V. Tobey, 87, died Wednesday morning September 25, 2024 at Caprice Health Care Center. She was born February 20, 1937 in Youngstown, a son of Ralph D. and Anna B. Henthorne Pierson.

Mrs. Tobey, a member of Central Christian Church was a key punch operator for over 20 years at Commercial Data. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Her husband, Gordon Emerson Tobey, whom she married September 15, 1956, died February 23, 2017.

She leaves two sons, Curtis Tobey and his wife Joni of Hubbard and Eric Tobey of Hubbard; two grandchildren, Emily (Justin) Morgan of Rockhill, SC and Rachel Logan and her husband Brian of Hubbard and one great grandson, Jase Morgan.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gordon; two brothers, Stanley R. and Gene B. Pierson.

Family and friends may call on Monday October 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

There are no funeral services.

Phyllis's final resting place will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery with her husband Gordon.
