Obituary
YOUNGSTOWN Ms. Phyllis L. Smitley, 66, of Youngstown, died Monday February 4, 2002 at Northside Medical Center. She was born February 24, 1935 in Dunbar, PA a daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Mary Jane James Smitley and lived in the area since 1955.
Ms. Smitley, a homemaker, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Hubbard and the Ladies Missionary Fellowship of the church.
She leaves a son, Bryan K. (Monica) Tedesco of Campbell, OH; a daughter, Debbra (Jerald) Mathew of Youngstown, with whom she made her home; three sisters, Betty June Duckworth of Uniontown, PA, Jean Rogers and Dorothy Stefanick both of Dunbar, PA; three grandchildren, Brandon, Josh and Lynn and one great grandson, Joshua. A brother, Lawrence Smitley and two sisters, Ruth Hammett and Gertrude Kolat are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, Hubbard.
Friends may call on Wednesday, 6 to 9 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, Hubbard.
