HUBBARD Phyllis A. Oaks, 61 of Hubbard died Monday afternoon, March 31, 2003, at Northside Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1941, in Youngstown, a son of John and Alberta Drozen Hartley and was a life long area resident.
Phyllis worked for Glennview Village for 14 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard, a graduate of the Harding Business College and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, music and spending time with her family.
She leaves one son, David A. (JoAnn) Oaks of Hubbard; two daughters, Cathy L. (Arthur) Jones and Loretta L Oaks, both of Hubbard; two brothers, John Hartley of Kinsman, OH and Herman Hartley of Germany; six grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life luncheon and gathering will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, Hubbard.
The Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard, handled arrangements.
