HUBBARD Phyllis M. Hinkle, 75, died Monday morning June 15, 2009 at Humility House. She was born May 30, 1934 in Guardian, WV a daughter of John and Lula Hall Carter and lived in Hubbard since 1955.

Mrs. Hinkle was a Registered Nurse and worked at the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital for 35 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship, the Church Women's Group and Youngstown Nurses Association. Phyllis enjoyed reading, camping, cooking and spending time with her family.

Her husband, William J. Hinkle, whom she married September 24, 1955, died November 15, 1998.

She leaves two sons, W. Bruce (Karen) Hinkle and John David Hinkle both of Hubbard; two daughters, Pam (John) Logan and Sheila (Steward) Murphy both of Hubbard; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call on Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, 12:00 PM at Hall Cemetery in Guardian, WV.
