HUBBARD Phillip O. Ladigo, 70, died Sunday, October 26, 2008, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born May 19, 1938 in Youngstown, a son of Orville C. and Dorthy June Lind Ladigo and lived in Hubbard for 50 years.
Mr. Ladigo drove truck for various trucking companies, retiring in 1999. Phillip was well known in the local area racing circuit, enjoyed motorcycles, gardening and outdoor cooking.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, the former, Sally E. Carnahan, whom he married October 25, 1958; a son, Phil K. "Flip" (Kelly) Ladigo of Stockbridge, GA; two daughters, Chris L. (Scott) Gasser of Millersburg, OH and Kelly S. (Bill) Vernon of Greenville, PA; two brothers, David K. Ladigo of Campbell, OH and Jack Day of Cleveland, TN; two sisters, Dorthy Patterson of Butler County, PA and Sandy Hite of Spruce Pines, NC; six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
