HUBBARD Philip W. Burrows, 57 of John White Rd., died Tuesday evening, May 15, 2001, at Northside Medical Center. He was born December 4, 1943, in Hubbard, a son of Milo S. and Helen Snyder Burrows and was a life long Hubbard resident.
Mr. Burrows was a self-employed dairy farmer, being the 6th generation to farm the family farm. He was previously employed by CT Farm and Country where he was a foreman. He was a member of Chestnut Ridge Church of God and enjoyed farming, motorsports racing, bowling, hunting and the outdoors. Phil was a 1961 graduate of Hubbard High School and served with the US Navy from 1961 to 1964.
He leaves his wife, the former Barbara Janis, whom he married July 10, 1965; a son, Michael S. Burrows of Hubbard; two daughters, Jodi Tracy of West Middlesex, PA and Kelly Tritt of Sandy Lake, PA; two brothers, Edward Burrows of Austintown and Ronald Burrows of Salem, OH; a sister, Doris Valley of Canfield and five grandchildren. A brother, Richard Burrows, is deceased.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God, Hubbard.
