HUBBARD Peter Hrycyk, 83 of Hubbard, died Saturday afternoon, March 13, 2004, at his residence. He was born June 18, 1920 in Frizzleburg, PA, a son of Metro and Eva Hrycyk and lived most of his life in this area.

Mr. Hrycyk worked for LTV Steel Corp. for 30 years retiring in 1975. He was a member of Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Church, enjoyed hunting and served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

He leaves his wife, the former Helen Ewankowich, whom he married October 25, 1952; two brothers, Nick Hrycyk of Struthers and Steve Hrycyk of Coitsville; one sister, Katherine Sporich of Warren; several nieces and nephews.

His parents, two brothers, John and Mike Hrycyk and three sisters, Mary Gray, Ann Hrycyk and Mildred Sawczak preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Church, Youngstown.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 4 to 7 PM where there will be a Panahyda service at 4:00.
