Pauline Samulka's Obituary


HUBBARD Pauline Samulka, 81, of Hubbard, died Monday morning, March 26, 2007, at Northside Medical Center. She was born on August 31, 1925, in Koppel, PA, a daughter of Peter and Anna Hercha Samulka and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Miss Samulka was the head cashier at Patton's Market in Hubbard for 33 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and its Altar & Rosary Society, the Hubbard Senior Citizens and Happy Wanderers Seniors. Pauline volunteered at Northside Medical Center for 10 years.

She leaves a brother, John Samulka of Hubbard; three sisters, Helen Clark of Youngstown, Judy Aggers and Margaret Dressel, both of Hubbard and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her parents, two brothers, George Kostecky and Paul Samulka and three sisters, Anna Baker, Mary Bishop and Carolyn Sue Kostecky, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
