SHARPSVILLE, PA Oliver R. Airgood Jr., 62 of Sharpsville died Saturday morning at United Community Health Care, Grove City, PA. He was born September 15, 1938, in Rosseter, PA, a son of Oliver W. and Theyone Bartlebaugh Airgood and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Airgood worked for LTV Steel Corp., Briar Hill Works, for 20 years, retiring in 1979. He attended Hickory High School, Hermitage, PA, and was a member of the Army Reserves from 1957 to 1964. He enjoyed stock car racing, fishing, hunting and backyard mechanics. He formerly drove a church bus for Calvary Temple, Youngstown.

He leaves his wife, the former Hazel E. Buzard, whom he married August 8, 1958; three sons, Oliver "Bob" R. Airgood III of Sharpsville, PA, David L. Airgood of West Middlesex, PA and Samuel J. Airgood of Sharpsville, PA; three daughters, Mary T. Leonetti of Greenville, PA, Theresa Airgood and Christine Airgood, both of Warren, OH; two brothers, Ralph C. Airgood of Jamestown, PA and John L. Airgood of New Bedford, PA; two sisters, Alverta Kolatt of Lowellville, OH and Lou Ann Rush of Erie PA; eight grandchildren. A son, Mark E. Airgood, a daughter, Priscella J. Airgood, two sisters, Patricia Ruiter and Laura Peterson-Bowman and a brother, Charles J. Airgood are deceased.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 5 to 8 PM.
