Obituary


HUBBARD Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home for Olive Anna Halliday, 93 of O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home, formerly of Mackey St., who died Tuesday afternoon at the home. She was born August 22, 1907, in Hubbard, a daughter of William and Clara M. Dehn Halliday and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Miss Halliday was a secretary for Powell Pressed Steel Co. for 41 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard and its Susanna Wesley Circle. She was a 50-year member of the Miriam Chapter No. 278 of the Order of Eastern Star, the Clotilda Club, Hubbard Chapter of the AARP and the Hubbard Camera Club. She was a 1925 graduate of Hubbard High School and a member of its girls' championship basketball team and enjoyed traveling, gardening and sewing.

She leaves three nephews, Thomas J. Hofstetter of Hubbard, Robert W. Hofstetter of Texas and Charles E. Hofstetter of Louisiana and many great nieces and nephews. A sister, Jeannette Hofstetter is deceased.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Thursday, 5 to 8 PM.

Burial will be in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
