HUBBARD Norma L. Watson died Sunday evening September 7, 2014 at Omni Manor Nursing Home. She was born October 12, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Calvin and Dorothy Maronde Frazier and moved to Hubbard in 1953.
Mrs. Watson, a graduate of The Rayen School, worked for McKelvey's Bakery, then was a hostess at Taco Bell and also volunteered delivering meals at the Hubbard Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of Pilgrim Collegiate Church in Youngstown since 1945, now called the Faith Community Church, where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship and counselor of the teenagers group for 5 years. Norma was also a member of the Hall Ave. Senior Citizens, AARP and a 10 year volunteer for Trumbull County Nutrition.
Her husband, Delbert A. Watson, whom she married June 24, 1943, died October 29, 1989.
She leaves a son, William W. (Karen) Watson of Hubbard; a brother, Harold (Chris) Frazier of Avon, CT; 5 grandchildren, Michael (Wanda) DeSalvo of Henderson, NV and John (Debbie) DeSalvo of Las Vegas, NV; Rachel (Steven Williams) Watson of Mesa, AZ, Amy (Dr. Selvon) St. Clair of Lima, OH and Dr. Melanie (Todd Breslow) Watson of Philadelphia, PA; 4 great grandchildren, Rocky, Cyan, Cyrus and Kaya.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a daughter, Cherie Watson and a great granddaughter, Iris Mae St. Clair.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, one hour prior to the services from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
