HUBBARD Norma Jean Rose, 76, died Friday morning July 5, 2024 at Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was born May 26, 1948 in Youngstown, a daughter of Homer M. and Irene Soos George and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Rose. A 1966 graduate of Hubbard High School received her Associate degree at Youngstown State University. She was a communications supervisor for the Youngstown Air Force Reserve Base in Vienna for 39 years and was a member of the Central Christian Church in Hubbard. Norma enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the Tuesday Card Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to Virginia, going to casinos and shopping.

Her husband, Alfred F. Rose Jr., whom she married September 23, 1978, died March 29, 2016.

She leaves two sons, James P. Rose of Hubbard and Jonathan F. Rose and his wife Crystal of Hubbard; a brother, Harold H. George and his wife June of Niles and three grandchildren, Autumn, Elizabeth and Benjamin.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Al and a brother, David A. George.

Family and friends may call on Friday July 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. Services will follow at 7:00 PM with Deacon Bob Friedman officiating.

Norma's final resting place will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery with her husband Al.
