HUBBARD Nancy Jo English Hancock, 59, formerly of East Liverpool, OH, died Monday morning, August 13, 2007, at Hospice House. She was born on May 1, 1948, in East Liverpool, a daughter of Donald and Lorene Shafer Hancock and lived in Hubbard most of her life.
Nancy worked for Denny's Restaurant in Hermitage for ten years and was a nanny for her grandson, Preston, for the past two years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hubbard, where she was active with the youth group. She was a member of the Barry Manilow Fan Club and an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pittsburgh Pirate fan. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandson and was an animal lover.
She leaves her son, D. Kenneth (Renee) English of Boardman; her daughter, Debra I. English of Hubbard; a sister, Sandi Miller of Dover, OH and a grandson, Preston Kenneth English.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, 59 Orchard Avenue, Hubbard, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.
