LIBERTY Minerva R. Jorza, 79, of Liberty Twp. died Monday evening, March 25, 2002. She was born January 21, 1923, in Romania, a daughter of John and Pauline Roman and came to this country at the age of five, living most of her life in this area.

Mrs. Jorza worked in the cafeteria at Liberty High School for 20 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Mark Orthodox Church in Liberty.

Her husband, John Jorza, whom she married November 10, 1046, died May 23, 1987. She leaves a son, John J. Jorza of Seattle, WA; three daughters, Linda Ann Pezzuto of Winfield, WV, Margie (Ron) Petko of Charleston, SC and Lisa Moran of Boardman; two brothers, John Roman of Youngstown and Nick Roman of Hubbard; two sisters, Elizabeth Reeher and Ann Williams of Hubbard; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. A sister, Pauline Biris is deceased.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard and at 10:30 AM at St. Mark Orthodox Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 4 to 7 PM where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM.
