HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 PM at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God with Pastor Rob McFarland officiating for Mildred Viola Moffitt, 90, who died Monday morning, November 28, 2011 at Liberty Health Care. She was born September 26, 1921 in Karns City, PA a daughter of Hugh Thomas and Margaret Forsythe Wimer.

Mrs. Moffitt, a homemaker, was a devoted member of Chestnut Ridge Church of God for over 25 years. Mildred played an integral part in all of her grandchildren's lives. She loved sewing, embroidery and doll collecting and had a great love for birds.

Her husband, Raymond Merle Moffitt died July 4, 1977.

She leaves a son, Raymond (Patricia) Moffitt of Hubbard; three daughters, Sandra K. Richeal of Hubbard, Shirley R. (Gratz) Holmes of Las Vegas, NV and Kimberly S. (Ray Tritt) Adams of Youngstown; a brother, Martin "Pete" Wimer of Grove City, PA; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant daughters and 10 brothers and 1 sister.

Family and friends may call on Thursday 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
