Obituary
DANVILLE, CA Mildred Jean Waite Collins, 64, formerly of Hubbard, died Saturday, January 24, 2004, at her residence. She was born February 21, 1939, in Sharon, PA, a daughter of Stanley and Grace Papp Waite and had resided in California since 1965.
Ms. Collins retired as an instructor in language arts and learning disabilities at Chabot College in Danville, CA where she had taught for 20 years. She was a graduate of Youngstown State University and Hubbard High School Class of 1957.
She leaves a daughter, Renae Collins of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers, Martin (Mary) Waite of Hubbard and Michael (Pat) Waite of Dallas, TX; her devoted companion Geoff Collins of California.
Funeral services were held in California.
Contributions can be made to the Martinez-Kaiser Hospice, 200 Muir Rd., Martinez, CA 94553.
