CUYAHOGA FALLS Michael W. Scott, 44, died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Akron City Hospital. He was born June 18, 1965 in Youngstown, a son of Robert and Beverly Thomas Scott and has lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 8 years.

Mr. Scott was an environmental engineer for the State of Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in Twinsburg for 9 years. He was a 1983 graduate of Hubbard High School, served with the United States Air Force for 6 years and was a 1999 graduate of Youngstown State University. Michael was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and was an avid sports fan.

He leaves his parents, Robert and Beverly Scott of Hubbard; his wife, the former Lisa A. Beck, whom he married May 6, 2000; three daughters, Heather A., Madison L. and Christina G. Scott all at home; a brother, James R. Scott of Cabot, AK; a sister, Patricia R. Pennington of Aurora, OH and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, David A. and Anne Beck of Poland.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. Family and friends may call on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Michael Scott Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank.
