HUBBARD, Michael J. Kwasnik, 87 died Monday October 27, 2003 at Northside Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY a son of Joseph and Mary Wenglas Kwasnik and moved to Hubbard in 1948.

Mr. Kwasnik worked for the Standard Oil Company for thirty years retiring in 1973. He was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II and was awarded the American Defence Service Medal, the American Service Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal. Mr. Kwasnik was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.

His wife, the former Connie DiGiacomo whom he married August 26, 1946, died July 8, 2002. He is survived by two sons, Robert Kwasnik of Brookfield and Michael (Vivian) Kwasnik of Boardman; one daughter Linda (Ronald) Gehring of Hubbard and three grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
