HUBBARD Michael Horvath, 94 of Hubbard, died Thursday afternoon, October 16, 2003, at Liberty Health Care Center. He was born October 14, 1909, in Brier Hill, PA, a son of Andrew and Anna Kolesar Horvath and lived most of his life in Hubbard.

Mr. Horvath was employed by the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. for 43 years retiring in 1972. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and was an avid bowler and golfer.

His wife, the former Mary Bortnick, whom he married July 2, 1930, died September 15, 1983. He leaves two sons, Richard (Bessie) Horvath of Masury and Kenneth Horvath of Hubbard; seven daughters, Dorothy (Robert) Allen of Plantation, Florida, Maxine (Milburn) Riley of Girard, Norma (Walter) Stafa of Columbus, OH, Carol (Mike) Welsh of Baltimore, MD, Joan (Donald) Nicholson of Masury, Kathy DeLaratta of Ft. Mohave, AZ and Mary Lynn (Frank) Pirtz of Braceville, OH; a daughter-in-law Rosemary Horvath of Plano, TX; one sister, Emma Cerny of Warren, OH; 24 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Horvath, three brothers, Andrew, John and George Horvath, four sisters, Mary Rodonovich, Irene Morris, Anna Kowalski, and Julia Post; one great grandson, Bryan Shea.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
