HUBBARD Melvin "Pete" Stout, 73, died Tuesday evening, March 29, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born December 2, 1937 in Smithfield, OH a son of Ermie R. and Ida Mae Pasco Stout and moved to Hubbard in 1963 coming from Smithfield.

Mr. Stout worked for National Castings in Sharon for 30 years, retiring in 1984. He served with the United States Army and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

His wife, the former Evelyn R. Ralston, whom he married September 24, 1965, died April 13, 2008.

Pete leaves a daughter, Becky (Bob) Vestal of Hubbard; two grandchildren, Ashtin and Jesse Vestal and a great granddaughter, Payton Inskeep.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Carl, Bob and Ralph Pratt and a sister, Gladys Wurshum.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.




Family and friends may call on Friday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
