HUBBARD Matthew P. Takash, 58, died Tuesday morning August 4, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born December 31, 1956, in Sharon PA, a son of Elmer W. and Laura B. Kite Takash Sr. Matthew was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. Takash was a graduate of Hubbard High School and a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was a mechanic for Tuffy Muffler for three years and formerly worked at Ivor J. Lee as a fitter for 10 years. He was a lifelong member of the Pothour-Wheeler Rd. gang.

Mr. Takash leaves two sons, Matthew P. Takash Jr. of Washington D.C. and Tommy M. Takash of Hermitage, PA; a daughter, Alicia C. Takash of West Middlesex, PA; four brothers, Elmer (Robin) Takash of Hubbard, Mark (Tammy) Takash of Hubbard, Luke (Jolene) Takash of Hubbard and John Takash of Hubbard; three sisters, Deborah (Howard) Plant of Mercer, PA, Barbara (Douglas) Neilson of Virginia and Lisa Seger of Warren, OH; 14 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Gail Marie Takash, and a brother-in-law, James A. Seger.

Memorial services will be held Friday August 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Friends and family may call one hour prior to services from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Matthew's final resting place will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
