HUBBARD Mary Talbert, 93, died Monday evening September 29, 2014 at her home. She was born March 24, 1921 in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Anna Kushner Gorol and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Talbert, a homemaker, was a member of St. Michael's Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Youngstown. She enjoyed polkas, auto racing, going for rides in the car, watching the Cleveland Indians and Browns on TV and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her husband, John M. Talbert, whom she married July 22, 1944, died July 26, 2006.

She leaves a son, Paul E. Talbert of Hubbard; a brother, Steve Gorol of Hubbard; two grandchildren, Stacy (Joe) Trobek of Brookfield and Laura (Bob) Asson of Youngstown and three great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Ashleigh and JT.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, John Talbert and four brothers, Edward, Michael, John and Joseph Gorol.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM. Family and friends may also call on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Youngstown.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.

The family requests memorial donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
