HUBBARD Mary Ann Skala, 75, died Sunday evening May 12, 2024 at Hospice House. She was born December 5, 1948 in Youngstown, a daughter of Myron and Marion L. Blasko Tomo and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Skala, a 1967 graduate of Hubbard High School was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Youngstown. She was a cashier at the convenience store in the Truck World Mall for 25 years, retiring in 2023.

She leaves her husband, Joseph T. Skala, whom she married December 5, 2001; a brother, John Tomo and his wife Stephanie of Hubbard and two nieces, Carrie and Mariah.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, infant Robert, Paul M. and William Tomo.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.

Mary Ann's final resting place will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home.
