MASURY Mary Louise Petten, 74, died Tuesday evening, April 14, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1934 in Manschoice, PA a daughter of Herbert Eugene and Florence Rose Kavecki Tiday and came to the Youngstown area in 1940.

Mrs. Petten was a secretary at State Farm Insurance for 20 years before retiring in 1998. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, picnics on the lake and bird watching.

She leaves a son, Joseph John Petten of Masury; two daughters, Pamela Ann Thiry of Florida and Karen Lynn Houy of Masury; two sisters, Dolores Jean Tiday of California and Patricia Ann Myers of Florida; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, JoAnne Tiday and a brother Eugene H. Kavecki.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Family and friends may call on Friday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
