GRAND HAVEN, MI Mary E. Listopad, 80, formerly of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, July 1, 2004, at her residence in Grand Haven. She was born August 22, 1923, in Sharon, PA, a daughter of Peter and Mary Buynak Padenich and lived in Hubbard for 15 years prior to moving to Michigan in 1997.

Mrs. Listopad, a homemaker, was a 1941 graduate of Farrell High School, a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, PA and the Brookfield Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Her husband, Stephen Listopad, whom she married July 19, 1941, died September 6, 1990.

She leaves a son, Stephen J. (Judy) Listopad of Parkersburg, WV, a daughter, Gloria J. McFarland of Grand Haven, MI and a granddaughter, Christie M. (Brian) Miller of Grand Haven, MI.

Besides her husband, her parents and four brothers, Michael Padenich, Steven Padenich, George Hucal and Charles Hucal, preceded her in death.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, PA.
