Mary Joyce's Obituary


BOARDMAN Mary J. Joyce, 88, formerly of Hubbard, died Friday evening, June 8, 2007, at Assumption Village. She was born July 27, 1918, in Campbell, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Fukon Wydick and lived most of her life in Hubbard prior to moving to Boardman in 2003.

Mrs. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Boardman. An avid bowler, she was sanctioned by the American Women's Bowling Association and was a member of the Candle Glow Support Group.

Her husband, William Joyce, whom she married January 21, 1941, died March 14, 1996. She leaves a son, William R. (Sandra) Joyce of Boardman; one brother, George Wydick of Girard and two grandchildren, Jonathan P. Joyce and Jennifer M. Joyce.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Andrew, John and Joe Wydick and two sisters, Julia and Ann, who died in childhood.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 am at St. Luke Catholic Church, Boardman.

Family and friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard, from 5 to 8 pm on Monday. There will be a Cursillo Bible Vigil at 8 pm following calling hours.
