HUBBARD Mary Kay Gurgovits, 51, of Hubbard, died Sunday, January 6, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born January 12, 1950 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph H. and Ella M. Brockett Gordon and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.
Mrs. Gurgovits was a Quality Control Engineer for Delphi Automotive, Warren, OH. She was a 1967 graduate of Hubbard High School and graduated from Kent State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. She enjoyed painting, gardening and antiquing.
She leaves her husband, Edward J. Gurgovits, whom she married August 17, 1986; an aunt, Jean Brockett of Murrell's Inlet, SC; two cousins, William Rolfe of Murrell's Inlet, SC, his four children and ten grandchildren and Robert Brockett of Hubbard, and his daughter. She also leaves her two dogs, Mickey and Angus. She was preceded in death by her parents and an aunt, Inez Rolfe.
