Biography

HUBBARD Mary L. "Kay" Gorol, 78, died September 27, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 23, 1933 in Youngstown, a daughter of Henry J. and Margaret O'Hara Lyden and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Gorol was a wire splicer for Packard Electric for 30 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, a 1951 graduate of Ursuline High School and attended Youngstown College. Mary bowled on the Davis International Team, in the Girard Ladies bowling league and was a Golden Girl, along with Janie, Jeanette, Patty, Peggy and Genie, and deceased Nancy and Millie.

She leaves her husband, Stephen P. Gorol, whom she married April 23, 1971; three sons, John Foust of Austintown, Mike Foust of Winter Park, FL and Henry (Pete) Foust of Warren; two daughters, Mary Ann Miller of Austintown and Kathy (Loren) White of Petrolia, PA; two sisters, Roseann (Jim) Beil of Liberty and Peggy Lyden of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Herb Seabolt, Matthew (Elyse) Foust and Heather and Samantha Foust; two great grandsons, Stephen and Phillip Seabolt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Henry "Bud" Lyden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Friday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd., Poland, OH 44514.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
