HUBBARD Mary L. Bozdog, 87, of Hubbard, died Tuesday morning, October 4, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born August 31, 1918, in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Petrinella Friedman Fabian and was a Hubbard resident since 1940.
Mrs. Bozdog was a homemaker and enjoyed studying the Bible and reading. A member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, Mary participated in the Wednesday Morning Bible Study Group, the Jewish-Christian Dialog Group and the Women's Auxiliary of Sacred Heart Missionaries.
Her husband, John Bozdog, Jr., whom she married August 31, 1940, died July 23, 1991.
She leaves a son, J. James Bozdog of Hubbard; a daughter, Carolyn Carney of Lincoln Park, MI; a sister, Mildred Chopko of Newton Falls; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, her parents, a sister, Agnes Thomas and brothers, Michael, Joseph, Thomas, and John Fabian, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 9:30 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
