Obituary
AKRON Mark Allen Szanny, 58, passed away at his home in Akron on Wednesday December 2, 2015. Mark was born in Youngstown on September 19, 1957 and was of the Christian faith.
He attended Hubbard High School where he played on the baseball team and graduated in 1975. Mark also attended Kent State University. He worked in various trades before retiring and enjoyed fishing and following football at all levels.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Lauren of Pennsylvania and three brothers, Roy (Donna) Szanny of Salem, Robert Szanny of Hubbard and Gary (Donna) Szanny of Gadsden, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret and a son, Mark Szanny Jr.
Per Mark's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
Arrangements were handled by the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home in Hubbard.
