HUBBARD Mrs. Marilyn L. Cook of Hubbard Bedford Rd., died Monday, June 25, 2001, at University Hospitals of Cleveland. She was born July 19, 1949 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Harry and Maxine Varner Norris.

Mrs. Cook was an accountant for the Women's Shelter, New Castle, PA for 9 years. She graduated from Youngstown State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren

In addition to her mother, Maxine Norris of Youngstown, she leaves her husband, Charles L. Cook, whom she married December 29, 1968; two sons, Charles L. Cook Jr. of Hubbard, Christopher (Tina) W. Cook of Howland; four brothers, Charles Varner of West Virginia; Richard Norris of Columbus, OH; Daryl Norris of Austintown, OH and Rodney Norris of Youngstown; a sister, Brenda Cook of Hubbard; one granddaughter, Taylor Annette Cook of Howland. Her father is deceased.

A memorial service was held Thursday evening at the First Christian Church, Girard.
