DALLAS, TX Marian A. Dripps, 87, of Garland, TX, formerly of Hubbard, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at Grace Presbyterian Village in Dallas. She was born on September 13, 1918, in Wampum, PA, a daughter of Charles and Mabelle Affantranger Reeher, moving to Hubbard in 1940 and to Texas in June of 2003.

Mrs. Dripps was a library aide at the Hubbard Public Library for 18 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Corner House Christian Church in Hubbard and was active with the youth in the Bible Bowl. Marian enjoyed drawing and was well-known for her cake decorating.

Her husband, Samuel R. Dripps, whom she married on December 24, 1936, died on December 22, 1975.

She leaves a son, Denny J. (Joyce) Dripps of Hubbard and a daughter, Donna L. (Robert) Peterson of Garland, TX; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, her parents and a brother, Charles Reeher preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
