HUBBARD Maria Taddeo Rasile, 95, of Hubbard, died Friday, January 12, 2007, at Greenbriar Health Center. She was born February 3, 1911, in Menturno, Italy a daughter of Alexander and Lucia Conte and came to this country settling in Hubbard in 1950.

A homemaker, Mrs. Rasile worked for Weatherbee Coat Co. for nine years and the Roosevelt School in Hubbard for five years. She was a member of St. Patrick Church for 57 years, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Adua Lodge. Maria enjoyed baking and cooking and had her own garden until she was in her mid 80's.

Her first husband, Donato Taddeo, whom she married in 1935 died in 1943. He second husband, John Rasile, whom she married in 1950 died in 1968. She leaves a son, Carmen (Mary Jane) Taddeo of Boardman, a daughter, Frances DelSignore of Boardman; five grandchildren, Donna (Michael) Lee of Virginia, Robert (Phyllis) Hahn of Hartford, OH, Maria (Paul) Kilar of Hubbard, David Taddeo of Boardman and Brian (Karen) DelSignore of Poland; eight great grandchildren, Victoria, Melissa and Michaela Lee; Dallas Hahn; Danielle and Steven Kilar; Blake and Alec DelSignore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Donatina Taddeo, one brother and three sisters.

Funeral services will be Monday, 10:15 am at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 9:00 am to 10:15 am.
